Toll Fares by Highway
How much is the toll from KL to Ipoh, Penang, Johor Bahru or Kuantan? These are the fares for cars (class 1) that LAPAN Nav uses for its route toll, from the official rate tables of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) and the highway companies. Toll for your own route
- Pick a destination and the route preview shows the toll in RM for that route.
- Tap it to see each plaza and its fare, with where the rate comes from.
- If a plaza on your route has no official rate in our tables, the total is shown as “≈” and marked as partial. We never guess a fare.
- Riding a motorcycle? The toll changes to the motorcycle rate, and riders at a RM 0 plaza are told so.
Questions Drivers Ask
Why do the fares differ between highways?
Each highway has its own concession and rate table. Barrier highways charge a flat fare per plaza; ticket highways like PLUS and LPT charge by the distance between your entry and exit.
Do motorcycles pay toll?
On most Malaysian highways motorcycles pay nothing. A few charge riders (KL–Karak and LPT, the Butterworth Outer Ring Road, the Butterworth–Kulim Expressway and the Johor Causeway), and the SMART tunnel doesn't allow motorcycles. Each highway's rule is shown above.
How current are these fares?
They come from the official rate tables and are checked against LLM's published rates every month. The date of the last check is at the top of the table.
