Your data, in plain language
This notice explains what personal data LAPAN Nav collects through the waiting list on lapan-nav.com, and how we use it, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect
- Your email address (required) and first name (optional).
- Your state and what you mainly drive for, so we can plan where to launch first.
- Your preferred language, your referral code, who referred you (if anyone) and how you found us (campaign links).
- The date and time you gave consent.
Why we collect it
- To manage your place on the waiting list and send you early-access invitations.
- To send you launch news and occasional product updates, if you agreed to receive them.
- To understand demand by state and type of driver.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising by others.
Who processes it
Your data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) and our email provider, Brevo, which sends our emails on our behalf. These providers may store data outside Malaysia, with safeguards in place.

How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until 12 months after LAPAN Nav launches publicly — whichever comes first — unless you create a LAPAN Nav account.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link in every email.
- Access or correct your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us.
- Withdraw consent at any time. This won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
